#DM/PM STUDY

The Henne Group is currently working on a new project involving men and women who have been diagnosed with Dermatomyositis & Polymyositis.

Our primary objectives are to gain an understanding of what the DM/PM disease and treatment experiences are like and to determine the support needed by myositis patients.

Qualified participants will men and women aged 18 and up who have been diagnosed with DM or PM for at least one year and have been on immunosuppressant treatment for myositis at any point within the last three years.

The lead members of the project team have substantial experience conducting research with this population. Over the past three years, THG’s Jeff Henne has conducted more than 100 one-on-one in-depth interviews with myositis patients and their caregivers, and has managed the administration of a web-based survey of 100 adults living with DM or PM.

Looking for participants

The Henne Group is looking for adults who have been diagnosed with DM or PM.  Qualifying patients will be asked to complete a 30-minute web-based survey regarding their experiences living with and seeking treatment for their condition.  Those who complete the survey will be paid $20 for their time and input.

No attempt will be made to sell anything or influence participants’ thinking, and all responses will be anonymous and confidential.
